I saw this and couldn't have found it more appropriate for me right now. As of today I am 39 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Lilly was born 10 days early, so I never reached this point with her. I was up all night two nights ago with contractions and was sure the baby was on the way. Only the contractions slowed, and eventually quit. My OB told me the same day that I was still only dilated to a 1 and baby needed to drop more. Not exactly what I wanted to hear. I know the baby will come when it is ready, when my body is ready, but emotionally I am ready now! So until then I am trying to practice patience and have faith.
