Just a Bit of Decorating

Since moving this summer, I have not put up any of my decorations.  I finally got around to just a few pictures.  This was my attempt at at a Gallery Wall.  It all looks a little crooked and not evenly spaced in the picture, but when you stand back and look at it, it looks a lot better  It isn't done yet, but I planned to wait until the baby is here and add some pictures then.
Lilly also got started on some artwork for her new room.  I love art made out of hand prints and foot prints. This was much harder than I expected!
Lilly also did an original painting for her wall.  I was really impressed by how much time she put into this!  Her new room isn't done, but we are getting close.  More pics when we get there!

Happy Valentine's Day

I just wanted to share some pictures of our super eventful Valentine's Day.  The first three pictures are of the Strawberry White Chocolate Cake Balls that Lilly and I made for her daycare treats.  And yes, they were so good they deserved three pictures!  I may even post a tutorial on how to make them!

These "bear hugs," were Lilly's Valentine's for her friends
And last but not least, Lilly's gifts from mommy and daddy.  I got her the giraffe several days ago and John bought her the Willy the Wildcat Sock Monkey from the game last night.  Speaking of the game, we all packed up and headed to Manhattan for the KSU/KU game.  This kid was wiped out today, but did surprisingly well considering we didn't get home until 11:30!  Such a trooper!

Buddies

How cute are they!  Lilly an Avery had a great time playing together last weekend. Lilly did her best to keep up with Avery and his super quick little boy pace, and Avery did his best to guard his toys from the little bossy pants who thinks everything is hers!

Baby Savannah

My sister Abby had her baby late last week and we made a quick, but wonderful, trip to Kansas City to visit.  Lilly was so excited.  I am not sure which was more fun for her, the baby or all of her little tiny clothes!
