My friend Sarah tagged me in her blog with the 7 Facts Blog Award, so here goes...
1. I am an avid online shopper. Really, someone should hire me to do their shopping. I know all the best sights for bargins. For shoes is has to be 6PM.com, for baby clothes I always browse Zulily.com, and for me it is usually Gap.com, but always from the sale pages. I have just started using Amazon.com/mom for discounts on diapers, wipes, and tons of other stuff, complete with free 2 day shipping. I like Etsy.com and thanks to Ashley, I now browse Heartsy.com for Etsy discounts. I do the majority of the shopping through Ebates.com for even more savings and cash back bonuses. I am over Ebay, hate it! I equally dislike TJMax.
2. I believe in Karma. When I was in Graduate school I lied to my supervisor about when my last day of work could be. I might have shortened my externship by a few days so I could go on a Mexican cruise with my parents and sister. We got to the port at Long Beach and the cruise people were running around talking about some random hurricane. Consequently, we didn't go to Mexico and drink cheap drinks while soaking up the sun. We went to Canada! Who the hell voluntarily takes a cruise to Canada! Sorry mom and dad.
3. I believe the word "retard" is as bad as the "n" word.
4. I have strange emotions. I didn't cry on my wedding day, the day I found out I was pregnant with Lilly, or the day she was born. I teared up just a little at both of my sisters' weddings, have been known to cry a little during state championship games even when I don't know the teams playing, and can't even listen to the song "Angels Among Us," without a lip quiver.
5. I am good at lots of things but not great at anything. I am ok with this and I think it makes me a more well rounded person.
6. I love the Filet o Fish commercials for McDonald's that you always see during Lent, but never, and I repeat never, would consider eating one. I feel the same way about the McRib. Barf!
7. One of the proudest moments of my life was when I was a Pall-bearer for my Grandma Dot's funeral.
Ok Abby A, it's your turn!
