Wordless Wednesday

Easter Fun

We had an absolutely wonderful Easter.  John, Lilly, and I, Abby, Adam, and Avery, Hanna and Grant,  Nana, Papa, and Aunt Karen were all able to get together in Kansas City for three days.  Warning!  Lots of pictures coming your way!

Love my Auntie Hannah

Mr Avery, happy as can be.
Love this pic!
Lilly might be a little cheesy

We spent a ridiculous amount of time playing outside.  We hit the playground everyday and blew lots of bubbles!
Yehaw!

The always important family pic.

Lilly loves her new golf clubs.

Sunday morning, nine adults got ready in three bathrooms and made it to 9:00 church.  Talk about a challenge.  Especially considering we were in Olathe so church was 20 minutes away!
Cute little butt looking for eggs

"Hey kitttie, give me my egg!"
Have I mentioned, Lilly is cheesy?

Purple eggs are her favorite!
Nana and Papa got Lilly and Avery Tot Rods for Easter.  She loves it!
Watch out!

BBQ Pizza

Or maybe I should call it BBQ'd pizza.  I got adventurous the other night and tried something new.  Pizza made on the grill.  Wish I could say it turned out as good as I hoped.  I decided to go all out and even made dough from scratch.  Big mistake.  It refused to rise, I used it anyway, and the crust turned out dense and not too flavorful.

Next time I will stick to dough out of a tube/can.

Brrrrr

Miss Lilly loves playing outside, even when it is only 35 degrees out.  Tuesday night was a cold one and Lilly just had to play outside.  She let us know by throwing the world's biggest tantrum.  John gave in and out they went.

Two coats, gloves, and a stocking hat were all she needed!  Wish I was as tough as she is.

Little Fashionista

When I am busy in the kitchen, Lilly likes to play in her room.  She unloads drawers and plays with clothes.  This is what she came out wearing last night.
She already had the shirt on, took off her pants, and added some shoes that were at least 3 sizes too big! I think she may have gotten her daddy's fashion sense....

Farmer Girl

One day over Spring Break, Lilly and I helped John chore at the farm.  Can't say we did much but I did get some cute pictures.

Miss Lilly did a great job carrying bukets

More bucket carrying

Lilly doing some driving.
Throwing grain out the window to the cows.  Don't worry the truck isn't moving, it was just a windy day!

Lilly screaming, "Hey cows, come eat!"
